This FREE addon was developed to fix the text box alignment in ACT!. It forces the text boxes to display the first part of the character rather than the last part when the text string is longer than the width of the text box. I created this screen shot of the before and after. The text boxes whose data is longer than the text box width do not display the left most characters of the Company or Contact fields. With Left Align for ACT! by Durkin installed you can read any field from the left most position if the text string is longer than the text box without increasing the size of the field.

To install the "Left Alignment" add-on click on the [Download Now] button, close ACT!, run the installer and restart ACT!.

This FREE add on for ACT! will auto refresh the current view every x minutes or refresh every x minutes when idle. To install the auto refresher download the installer, close ACT!, run the installer and restart ACT!.

To install the "Auto Refresh" add-on click on the [Download Now] button, close ACT!, run the installer and restart ACT!.

After installing the add-on launch ACT and go to the TOOLS menu. There you will find the menu to access the refresh options. "Automatically Refresh" option will refresh the view after a set period of time has passed. "Refresh when idle" option will refresh the view after a set period of time has passed only if the computer has been idle.

This is a FREE add-on for ACT! disables all the print function from the menu system, right-click popup menus and the 'Related Tasks' options on the left side navigation bar. The disable print functionality is not applied to administrators or managers. All other users types such as standard or browser users will have no print functionality.

To install the "Disable Print" add-on click on the [Download Now] button, close ACT!, run the installer and restart ACT!.

This FREE add-on for ACT which disables ACT!’s ability to get the updates from the ACT.com web site without re-configure your firewall. This add on for ACT! will disable the auto update feature by changing the internal ACT! URL so that it is not able to connect to the FTP site.

ACT! tries to get the update by one of two mechanisms. Both are disabled:
1) When the users go to the HELP menu and select "ACT! Update..."
2) On ACT startup after a predetermines period of time such as "every 90 days"

If the users go to the "ACT! Update..." menu they will see the yellow popup which reads. "Connect error" "Please try again later" .

To install the "Disable Print" add-on click on the [Download Now] button, close ACT!, run the installer and restart ACT!.
