Many users find it easier to target a button rather then double-clicking especially when in the 'Edit' mode. To add a button to any column on the list: 1. Right-click on the column header: 2. Click on the MORE button 3. In the 'Column Details More' window change these two entries ButtonDisplyMode = ALWAYS ButtonStyle = ButtonCell ( Or Ellipsis) ButtonCell create a button that encompasses the entire cell area. ( See the "Details" column in the attached screen shot) Ellipsis create a small Ellipsis button "..." on the right side of the column ( See the "Date" column in the attached screen shot) EditType = NoEdit ( This MUST be set to noedit if you use a button in the column ) ( Not setting this will cause loss of changes when using the button ) If the column is "Details" the Activity window will open on the details tab. If any other column the Activity window open on the first tab. '--------------------------------------- ' MULTIPLE NOTES '--------------------------------------- You can now change multiple selectors in TLP without refreshing the list between each change. To open the 'Select Multiples' window right-click on any selector at the bottom of the TLP window like "USERS" In the popup menu that appears select the "Select Multiples" item. On this window users can change multiple items and the list will not refresh until the users click the REFRESH NOW button. '--------------------------------------- ' LAYOUT NOTES '--------------------------------------- You can switch between layouts on the 'Customize Columns' window. This is a precursor to dropping the "Select Customized Layouts" icon on the toolbar because both features, 'Customizing' and 'Selecting' can be performed from this re-designed window. Useful in conjunction with "The Current Layout name is displayed on the Status bar at the very bottom of the window."
